Sara Sommerfeld is an award-winning author, actress, director and producer with more than three decades of experience in storytelling and cultural production.
Through her production company, founded in 2008, she has developed and produced film and TV for channels including SVT and TV4, as well as stage productions including nationwide theatre tours. Her work spans drama, screenwriting, stage work, directing, lecturing, production, PR, marketing and sales.
Ahead of her debut novel's launch, Sommerfeld produced an extensive marketing campaign with high-profile launch events, media coverage and a nationwide theatre tour combining stage performances with book signings. The novel sold 20,000 copies, received a BTJ rating of 5/5, was named a finalist for Feelgood Book of the Year, and won runner-up in the Adlibris Prize for Best Debut.
